About the course

The Pregnancy & Infant Massage Workshop provides participants with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in safe, gentle massage techniques specifically designed for women during pregnancy and for infants throughout their first year of life.

Throughout the workshop, participants will learn the principles of therapeutic touch,

Since the use of certain medications may be limited during pregnancy, massage may serve as a complementary approach to help relieve some of the common discomforts experienced during this period, depending on the woman’s individual condition and in the absence of contraindications. Massage may promote relaxation, reduce muscular tension, and help prepare the body for childbirth. In addition, massage and the safe, appropriate use of oils may support skin care as the skin undergoes stretching and other changes during pregnancy.

Infant massage may help strengthen bonding and communication between the parent and the baby, promote a sense of calm and security, and support the infant’s overall development and well-being. Appropriately adapted massage may also be used as a supportive approach for premature infants and children with special needs, when performed according to professional guidelines and with consideration of their individual health condition.
