Teaching and internship at the French hospital pool.
Accreditation by the Israeli Association of Natural Medicine professions and European Association of Natural Medicine. Full cooperation with German hydrotherapy organization (Bundesverband der Hydrotherapie).
The Hydrotherapy course which is provided by CIM is an exceptional educational programme. The level of teaching is the highest and meets the international standards.
Hydrotherapy is used for treatment purposes especially for those who suffer from motor disabilities in general and cerebral palsy in particular. The float helps the patient to move the limbs in the opposite direction of gravity without any resistance, which allows freedom of movement and helps strengthening the weak muscles.
The movement in the direction of gravity provides resistance to the muscles due to the density of water. Likewise, movement in a direction parallel to the surface of the water cancels out the effect of gravity completely.
The benefits of hydrotherapy: 1. It helps to relaxing and increasing the muscle tone, as it has a special heating unit. 2. it Teaches the child the basic motoric skills like sitting, standing, walking using various floating aids. 3. It helps strengthening the muscles and increases the motion of the joints. 4. It helps increasing the efficiency of the respiratory system by strengthening the muscles of the rib cage and regulating the breathing process. 5. Water provides an appropriate therapeutic environment for an autistic child that helps him develop mental and emotional abilities. 6. It Alerts the sense of touch of all limbs and the body through the pressure in the water, which gives a great feeling. 7. It is the best surrounding for teaching the child the correct movement pattern in an aqueous environment taking advantage of the lightness of the body, and the availability of support and protection aids.
